We have recently bought a new house and are in the process of re-modeling our kitchen. Part of the challenge of having no kitchen is eating out a lot more, and I mean a lot. What does our meals comprise of:
1. Breakfast – 3 hard boiled eggs, 1 piece of fruit and 1 cup of coffee
2. Snack – Lara bar and banana
3. Lunch – Take out at work
4. Snack – Handful of nuts
5. Dinner – Eating out (AGAIN!) or rehydrated mountain house food (which is not really paleo – with beef stew being the closest when we are in the mountain) or grilling.
The above while tasty is not sustainable for me for every meal for the 8-9 weeks. Especially for lunch. The reason is because take out in the Sodo area for paleo options are almost always restricted to salads or some days if I am lucky – vegetable with grilled protein. Today is week 4 of our renovation. I was surfing the net when I see an advertisement for delivery for paleo meals by CHEF BY REQUEST
After researching briefly online, I decided to give it a quick try for the meals since it does not need an oven and just need a microwave for re-heating.
At this moment, I had signed up for a $99 – 3 days with 3 meals and 2 snacks Paleo meal option. I am looking forward to receiving my first delivery tonight -> For Monday / Tuesday / Wednesday and getting back onto the wagon for the next few days!!!!
